The Neosho Recycle Center is a regional drop-off recycling center. The facility serves over 7,000 individual recyclers as well as six other communities or organizations each year.
The recycle center accepts most traditional recyclables such as:
Aluminum / tin cans
Batteries
Plastic bottles - Number 1 PET (pop bottles)
Newspapers
Magazines
Mixed paper
Office paper
Phone books
Hardback books
Cardboard
Pasteboard (cereal boxes)
Milk jugs and detergent bottles - Number 2 HDPE
Ink cartridges
Plastic grocery bags
Most scrap metals
Light bulbs
Vegetative debris
CLOTHING and other ‘textiles/fabric’ is now being accepted. There is a collection bin on the North side of the building.
#6 EPS FOAM (Styrofoam) is being accepted again. NO peanuts, foam ‘fabric’, or food containers.
We are now accepting glass products listed below are the accepted and unaccepted items.

The recycle center now accepts used cooking grease, both commercial and retail. Any container used to transport is fine, but cannot be returned.
