How do I request a criminal records check for myself?: All criminal records checks must go through the Missouri State Highway Patrol. An individual can request a local record check from the Neosho Police Department's Records Division. This would only include records created and maintained by Neosho Police Department and not include other law enforcement agencies records.

If you have an emergency, call 911.

For non-emergency, or to speak with a Police Officer, you can call our Central Dispatch Center at 417-451-8000, and press 0 to speak to a dispatcher. This number is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

2. How do I obtain a copy of a police incident or traffic accident report?: Contact our Records Division during normal business hours at 417-451-8012 or email staff Records Division.

3. Where can I get an order of protection or ex-parte?: You must contact the Newton County Circuit Clerk's Office at 417-451-8257. This office is located in the Newton County Judicial Center at:
