Responsibilities
The Neosho Police Department is committed to quality law enforcement protection for everyone living, working, and traveling through our community.
We pride ourselves on being proactive in reducing crime and protecting lives and property. The City of Neosho is a safe town in which to raise a family, have a thriving career, or retire. Friendly, professional service is a priority for all of our officers.
We provide 24-hour protection to all property and persons within the Neosho city limits.
Special Programs & Services
- Fingerprinting for identification of children should they ever become lost
- Shop with a Hero for children in need during the Holidays
- Neighborhood watch to eliminate criminal activity
Prescription Drug Drop-Off Box
Thanks to The Alliance of Southwest Missouri, working through the Newton County Community Coalition. The prescription drug drop-off is in the lobby of the Police Department and is accessible from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
